Kandi people facing negligence, alleges Manjit Singh 11/11/2014 11:37:25 PM Early Times Report VIJAYPUR, Nov 11: Criticizing the negligent attitude of the administration, Congress candidate for Vijaypur assembly seat Manjit Singh today alleged that the people in the kandi areas have been allegedly neglected with regard to development and other basic facilities. Manjit Singh during election campaign visited many villages along the International Border and interacted with the people where people appraised him about various problems they were facing. Singh visited villages like Rangur Camp, Nandpur Camp, Bassi, Pakhri, Badi, and Maduin. After listening to their grievances, Singh assured full support to the people for the redressal of their complaints and appealed them to strengthen the hands of Congress party in this assembly election. "Congress party is secular party which can keep all the three regions united and do development equally without any discrimination," he said, while informing that the State needs prosperity which only Congress can provide while criticizing the policies of the other who are bent on dividing state with the divisive politics. The Congress candidate said that the state can develop only when there is peace and development without any disparity in all the three regions.
