Pointing a finger at Chaman, Congress points four on itself | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 11: By pointing a finger of accusation on former Union Minister and BJP MLA Chaman Lal Gupta who rejoined the party after his expulsion following cross vote fiasco, Congress has inadvertently pointed four towards itself. Several Congressmen had reacted sharply to Chaman's return to the party, leveling several allegations on Gupta and BJP, conveniently forgetting their own misdoings, which has brought so much of shame to the party. Several Congress Ministers and men have been accused of corruption, nepotism and misuse of power, while others were named in encroachments of Government land and shameful scams involving their kin. "The properties of several Congress Ministers and leaders have risen several times in last decade or so that the party has been power first with PDP and then with NC," said a BJP leader questioning the onslaught of Congressmen against Chaman. "Several Congress leaders have amassed huge fortunes in these 12 years and facts can be ascertained even from their nomination affidavits despite the fact that what they declare is just a part of what they actually own" he added. |
