PoK traders' delegation putt off indefinitely

Early Times Reporter Jammu | Nov 6 The much delayed visit of the trade delegation of Pakistan occupied Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industries has been put off indefinitely owing to imposition of emergency in Pakistan. The delegation of traders, which had its visit impending for close to a year, was earlier scheduled to reach Jammu on November 6 but later it was rescheduled for November 9. However, it was yet again postponed for few days on request of the Jammu Chamber of Commerce and Industry owing to the preoccupations of the local industrialists and traders with the festival of Diwali. Now the visit has been putt off indefinitely. Informed sources told EARLY TIMES that there is no immediate possibility of the visit of PoK trade delegation to Jammu and Kashmir in view of emergency in Pakistan. "It seems to have been put off indefinitely as fresh scheme of things will have to be worked out following changing situation in Pakistan", said a government source. Early Times Reporter Jammu | Nov 6 The air traffic security concerns once again came to the focus today as six devotees had a narrow escape when a chopper carrying them to the shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi made an emergency landing midway. While all the passengers were safe, the authorities have launched a probe to ascertain the causes of snag. "We have to find out whether the chopper number of engines required for flying on this route", said an official of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board. Early Times Reporter Jammu | Nov 6 A Pilot of Himalayan Chopper Service and six other passengers, including two children, had a miraculous escape in a chopper crash landing near Katra helipad this afternoon. Reports reaching here revealed that as soon as the chopper with six passengers hailing from Noida, Delhi took off at about 1315 hrs. from Katra helipad for Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Ji, the engine of the chopper developed some technical snag and the chopper crash landed in the open fields near helipad resulting into injuries to the passengers. New Delhi | 6 Imposition of emergency in Pakistan has dealt a severe blow to its economic relations with India as businessmen from the two countries have stopped booking fresh orders. As an immediate fallout, a business delegation from the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce, which was scheduled to visit India from November 13, has cancelled its programme.
