| Police, Army carry out joint operation | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, Oct 3: After the militant attack at Hiranagar and Samba the secutity forces are at high alert. keeping in view the present scenerio on one hand police is carring out surprise checkings within city and outskirts laying nakas. On the other hand police and army carried out joint combing operation on Thrusday in nearby villages.
When asked about the situation DySP head quarter Daljeet Singh told that security forces at a alert keeping in view the present situtions. Security forces don't want to take any chance.
He further added that yesterday SP Mohan Lal made a surprise to the nakas laid in and out city. He also made a surprise visit to railway station and took notice of the security arrangements. Other than this on Thrusday police and army offcials carried out search operations in near by villages.
Moreover army also made a surprise checking of the vehicles plying on Jammu-Pathankot national highway. |
