Udhampur, Oct 3: Private Schools Association (PSA) Unit Doda held a meeting in Green Model Higher Secondary School Doda under the chairmanship of its provincial secretary-cum-coordinator Ajay Gupta. District President O P Chandial read out the problems being faced by the private schools of far flung, rural and semi urban areas like Bhalassa, Thathri, Gandoh, Bhella, Humel, Gundana, Bhardwah, Chinta, Charalla,Panchai, Khellani and Assar of Doda in recognition upto class 8th, conduct of SSE and HSP-II exams by JKBOSE in winter zone in current session of Jammu division especially in earthquake and violence affected areas of Doda and Kishtwar. He demanded open choice or some special relaxation for the students. Ajay Gupta in its address apprised the members about the provision of new School Education (Amendment) Act -2013. He expressed satisfaction about the initiative taken by the secretary-cum-commissioner Hardesh Kumar Singh by inviting inputs, views, ideas and experiences from different corners of the society for the effective The School Education (Amendment) Act -2013. He appealed him that representatives of stake holders from urban, semi urban, rural areas should be involved in addition to secretaries, planners, educationists for effective education policy in the state in addition to other suggestions submitted by the central body. In addition Gupta appealed to Chairman JKBOSE Hardesh Kumar Singh for open choice or special relaxation to students of both the districts. |
