Jammu, Oct 3: Bharat Vikas Parished Gandhi Nagar, Jammu organized national patriotic group song competition at Govt. Boys Hr. Sec. School Gandhi Nagar, Jammu.
Zahid Parveen, principal of the school was the chief guest on the function. The programme started with the lightning of the lamp and the recitation of vande matram. Arun Sharma state president welcomed the guests and spoke on the activities of BVP. About 5 schools of the area participated in the competition.
The result of the competition is in Hindi Category went to K V No 2 Jammu as Ist prize followed by 2nd prize to Govt. Girls High School Gandhi Nagar and 3rd to M.N.K.G School Gandhi Nagar.
In Sanskrit category, K.V No.2 Jammu bagged 1st prize .
Prof Vijay Lakshmi was the judge. Prominent persons presented were Vijay Sharma, S.N Sharma, Santosh Gupta, president Bhopal Dutta, B.B Sharma etc.
