Kathua, Oct 3: To condemn the brutal attack on the life of Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Samba Dr Kartar Chand and staff of District Hospital Samba, the doctors of District Hospital Kathua today protested and suspend work for one hour in the premises of District Hospital Kathua.
The failure of the law enforcing agencies to book and prosecute these goons, for what so ever reasons, has only encouraged such elements and has led to the rise in the number of such unfortunate incidents. The latest victim of this brutality is Kartar Chand CMO Samba and the staff of DH Samba who were discharging their duties when these vagabonds attacked them injuring the CMO seriously. The doctor has been admitted in the hospital and is battling for his life.
The doctors fraternity of district Kathua strongly condemned this fatal attack on the life of CMO Samba and other staff, while doing their official work and urges the law enforcing agencies to immediately arrest the culprits and register an FIR against them and start prosecution without any delay. |
