| PAWA suggests Col Choudhary (retd) to be Secy ZSBK | | | Early Times Report
KATHUA, Oct 8: People Action cum Welfare Association (PAWA) demanded the government to appoint Rtd. Col PL Choudhary as secretary of Zila Sainik Board Kathua (ZSBK).
While addressing a press conference at Kathua, the president of PAWA Capt. Gyan Singh Pathania urged the Chief Minister Omar Abdullha and Governor of Jammu and Kashmir that the post of secretary in Zila Sainik Welfare Board which is lying vacant since May of 2013 and demanded to fill up by appointing legible Rtd Army officer to carry the welfare schemes for the welfare of ex-army men.
He recommended the name of Rtd. Col PL Choudhary for the post who is father of Martyr Capt Sunil Choudhary, KC (P), SM who gave Supreme sacrifice in the service of Nation on Jan 27, 2008 while fighting with ULFA militants in ASSAM.
Pathania said that the welfare and well being of ESM/War Widows/NOKs is the fundamental ethos of Army life culture. With this urge various Welfare Schemes have been announced by the State/Central Govts for the welfare and well being of ESM/War Widows/NOKs. |
