Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 8: Nirvana Academy a registered cultural club organised 10 days children workshop on music which began on 29th September concluded here today in Aarohi Kala Sangeet Vidhalaya, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu. Dharmesh Nargotra a noted singer and musician was the chief guest on the occasion while the closing ceremony was presided by Hitesh Badyal president Nirvana Academy, Jammu. Meenakshi Sharma general secretary Nirvana Academy said on the occasion that the 10 day workshop aimed to provide a happy and engaging experience to children by teaching them to sing various types of folk songs, Dogri songs, ghazals, solo and group songs. She also thanked the Secretary, J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages Jammu for his kind cooperation and financial assistance to organise children music workshop. Kuldeep Kumar chief instructor of Aarohi Kala Sangeet Vidhalaya in his closing address stressed that children's life and activities at school must be linked to their life outside the school. Chief Guest Dharmesh Nargotra congratulated the students and commended the dedication and efforts of the teachers in making the workshop successful. Such workshops bridge the gap between school, home and community and explore the hidden talent of the children and provide them an opportunity to refresh themselves.
