| Student of MBS College injured in police lathicharge | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 8 : A student was injured in a cane charge by police during protest held by students of Mahant Bachitar Singh College of Engineering and Technology (MBSCET). The students after boycotting their classes in support of their demand of reinstatement of expelled Professor held protest demonstration outside the college against the management over what they alleged as nepotism and favoritism being adapted by it in making appointments in the college.
Raising slogans against the college management, the students burnt its effigy and demanded that competent persons should be appointed on higher posts of the college including dean and vice-principal.
