| EJCC to observe October 10 as solidarity day | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 8: Employees Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) has decided to take the ongoing agitation to its logical conclusion and expressed serious concern over prolonged detention of their leaders and employees, detained by government. According to press release, in a meeting JCC members took stock of the present situation emerging out of the ongoing employees' strike, launched to press for implementation of agreement reached between JCC and Government on 15th September 2011. They resolved that 10th of October would be observed as solidarity day to express complete solidarity with the detained employees and it was decided that all the 4.50 lakh employees across J&K would observe the day by putting/wearing on Black Bands during office hours. They appealed to ensure their participation in the programme by putting/wearing on Black Bands during the office hours on 10th October. |
