Jammu, Oct 8: Police, today claimed to have arrested one absconder absconding seven years and police arresting him produced the accused in the Court of Law.
According to police reports, a team from Police Station Trikuta Nagar following specific input from its source about the presence of accused in the area falling under its jurisdiction raided the hide out and apprehended the accused.
"The arrested absconder has been identified namely as Jagdish Sharma S/o Shalu Ram R/o Bulandhay Ram Nagar of Udhampur presently living in Sector No. 4, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu," police said. Giving further details of the absconder, police said, "The accused was involved in Case FIR No 129/06 U/S 279/304-A RPC of Police Station Trikuta Nagar."
"He was evading arrest for the last 7 years and today after his arrest he was produced him in the Court of Law," police added. |
