JAMMU, Dec 27: A full package of entertainment, joyful and enthusiastic Fresher's Party was organized in the premises by the students of KC Gurukul College of Education and the Chairman.
Arvind Mahajan was the chief guest to witness this mega event. All the students collectively accorded a very warm welcome by presenting bouquets to the faculty members and subsequently, the progamme commenced with a rhythmic item presented by a group of Bhadarwahi musicians reminding the rich cultural heritage of our state. Megha Sharma, Shweta and Rishikesh anchored the entire program. The gala event begin with the Saraswati Vandana followed by a number of interesting items like recitation of poetry, Qawali, Punjabi, Dogri, Himachli, Classical and solo dances as well as songs. Kanchan Pandit and Rishikesh were declared as Miss and Mr. Fresher respectively through voting.
The worthy Chairman of the college awarded Rs. 5000 to the students as a token of love and encouragement and a special prize was also given to the best dancer. |
