Vijaypur, Dec 27: Janta Dal United members today staged protest demonstration against the Power Development Department (PDD) tehsil office Samba, against what they called inflated bills served by department.
According to press release under the leadership of senior vice president Pradeep Kumar Lalotra (Contesting candidate) the protest demonstration was organized. The protesters said that the electric bills served by department were inflated and should be rectified.
Recently several people had met to the concern authorities regarding the matter but no concrete step has been taken.
"BPL families are also receiving full electricity bills and no concession has been made to them", Lalotra said, and asked department to provide concession to BPL families.
Rachpal Singh, Raj Kumar, Janak Raj, Hans Raj, Rakesh Kumar, Rani Devi, Manju Devi, Anita Devi were also present on the occasion. |
