Jammu, Dec 27 : Angered over unprecedented delay by government to concede the long pending demands, PHE Workers Welfare Association (PHEWWA) has decided to organize mass employees rally on 10th of January 2014 in Chief Engineer PHE Complex, BC Road, Jammu where next course of action will be decided. Addressing the media persons, Bakshi Singh and Subash Verma said that non-gazetted permanent employees of PHE department have been struggling for their demands for the last so many years but nothing has been done by government despite repeated assurances. Their demands including regularization of all daily rated workers on pattern on Rehbar-e-Talim pattern, release salaries of all employees of last 22 months, wages to all daily rated workers should be given before 5th of every month regularly, holding of DPC meeting against the vacant posts in due course of time and creation of higher scales posts of field and operational staff to remove the stagnation. The other senior leaders of the association those who participated in the press conference included Rattan Doshi, Tilak Raj, Chuni IjsI, Babu Singh, Vijay Singh, Romesh Chander, Ajit Singh, Surinder Kumar, Ram Labhaya, Manzoor Als and Vijani Kumar etc. |
