| PHE employees demand release of pending wages | | | Early Times Reports Kathua, Dec 27: PHE employees association today staged protest rally and demanded for release pending wages immediately under the presidentship of Shiv Kumar Sharma here at Kathua. According to press release, Shiv Kumar said that the rally was started from PHE division office and culminated at DC office Kathua. He said that the demands of all dues of CP workers from last 17 months would be released immediately and all sort of daily wages workers should be regularized who completes seven years of service in department, all sort of CP workers who had been left out for authentication by general administrative department should be authenticated immediately. Besides the DPC meeting should be conducted against the vacant post lying in department due to retirement or death caused as per division level. He further demanded that all ITI trained workers should be regularized on behalf as a skilled worker who is serving in this department till date. There were so many WS stations in bad condition which should be repaired immediately. The char coal should be issued to all PHE stations for winter season at the earliest. They employee's further demanded the new pension scheme engaged officials were suffering without pay for last several months due to non release of funds in salary head. Arjun Singh, Kuldeep Raj, Rakesh Kumar, Harbans Lal, Sham Lal, Gopal Krishan, Mohinder Kumar, Sapurad Ali and Mahadev Singh were present on the occasion.
