JKTF meets CEO, highlights demands

KATHUA, Dec 27: Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF) led by District President Puran Singh met Chief Education Officer (CEO) Kathua and discussed the demands pertaining to teachers of district Kathua.
The main demands discussed during the meeting included implementation of the new transfer policy in letter and spirit. Speakers demanded action against the officer/officials involved in the misappropriation of GPF of Zone Malhar in which the involvement of officials of ZEO Malhar, J&K Bank Billawar and Treasury Billawar is maintained in the enquiry report constitution by DC Kathua
CEO directed ZEO Malhar to relieve the transferred Sr Asstt under an intimation to his office within 3 days. The bugling of SSA amounting Rs. 691694 in zone Mahanpur of thirty two Masters/Teachers during the year March 2012 may be enquired by constituting the enquiry committee. Adjustment of 2nd installment of Sixth Pay Commission of Masters& Teachers of differentzones and clearance of MDM bills and transport charges of Zone Malhar & Basohli. Other demands highlighted included Release of Pay of all deployed Masters/Teachers adjustment of arrears of SRO 222, Non-adjusted of GPF of teachers under new pension scheme.
CEO Kathua said that he has received the liability for clearance of M.D.M of Zone Malhar&Basohli which will be cleared at an earliest. He also assured that Jr. Asstt. To ZEO Malhar will be provided at the earliest. He also directed ZEO Malhar to issue the GPF statements to all masters/teachers immediately.
He also assured the delegation that he will take up the matter of release of 2nd installment of sixth pay commission arrear under SRO 222 and release of salary of Masters/Teachers under SSA with concerned authorities
Amar Nath General Secretary District Kathua, S Surjeet Singh, Parveen Singh, ManhorLal, Kuldeep Singh, Subash Chander, Vikram Singh and others also accompanied with the JKTF delegation.
