Doda, Dec 4: The students Government Degree College Doda has brought laurels to the institution by bagged 3rd position in Bhaderwah Youth Festival "Sangam" organized by 4 RR (Bihar) and University Campus Bhaderwah here today.
According to press release, a total of 35 students participated in the festival under various events. Among those Zeeshan Tasaduq of B.Sc. II won Gold in photography, Umar Wani, Nadeem Tantrey and Gazi Abdullah of B.Sc. I won Gold in Quiz competition, Munisha & Co won Gold in Rangoli. The Silver Medal winners were Ravi Bhardwaj in 200 mtr race, Mohd. Yousuf in Long Jump, Akshay Kumar in 100 mtr race, Devinder in 400 mtr. and Volley ball team.
Principal GDC Doda Prof. Syed Z.A Hashmi congratulated incharge teachers and students in particular for their achievement and said that cultural activities are an integral part of the all-round development of the students. I wish every student to participate in such activities and bring laurels. The other students who actively participated include Manish Chandail, Dinesh, Vikas Parihar, Madhu, Nishu, Chandni, Urmila, Mujeeb indrabi, Vinay, Abid, Aqib, Muzaffar, Mozim Dar, Ankul jain, Deepak, Umair, Kuljinder, Shubham and Arjun. |
