Srinagar, Dec4: Provincial President of National Conference and MLA Amirakadal, Nasir Aslam Wani has both movable and immovable assets worth Rs 5,45,80,132 Nasir in an affidavit filed along with the nomination papers to the Election Commission has valued his property at Rs. 5,45,80,132. Nasir who actually hails from Lolab in North Kashmir is seeking re-election from Amira Kadal constituency. He is facing tough contest from PDP's multi millionaire, Sayed Altaf Bukhari. As mentioned in the affidavit, Nasir's wife has started business just a year ago and her returns are under finalization. Having cash in hand of Rs 68,000, Nasir has also deposits of Rs 1,36,132, investment in shares of Rs 28,000 and also owns Mahindra Xuv worth Rs 14,98,000. His wife has cash in hand of Rs 55,000, owns Ford Eco Sport of Rs 8,90,000 and has bank deposit of Rs 1,08,558. Besides his spouse, Nasir's two dependants have cumulative cash in hand of Rs 25,000, total postal savings of Rs 64,000 and bank deposits of Rs 83,500. Nasir also has worth Rs 6,50,000. His wife owns gold worth Rs 25,48,000, While his children have gold together of Rs 7,80,000. About the mention of immovable property, Nasir has share in both agriculture land and orchard which is worth Rs 17,00,000. Besides he has non- agriculture land worth Rs 45,00,000. He also has inherited commercial building in Sogam and has a share in guest house at Raj Bagh Srinagar, The total worth of his commercial venture is Rs 2,00,000,00 Omar's friend also owns a flat at Eros Garden New Delhi, house at Sidhra Jammu, share in house at Raj Bagh and also in Sogam, total of which sums to Rs 2,60,000,00. Thus the movable asset NC provincial president has is worth Rs 5,22.00,000 Assets apart, Nasir, a commerce graduate also has loan liability of Rs 37,53,432 and his wife has loan liability of Rs 12,15,884. Meanwhile former chief minister and PDP patron, Mufti Muhammad Sayeed has shown property (both movable and immovable) worth Rs ,137,24,362, while his wife's total assets are worth Rs 25,15,000. Mufti contesting from South Kashmir's Anantnag assembly segment, has shown Rs 9,60,000 per annum income and has cash in hand of Rs 40,000 and bank deposits of Rs 35,84,362. He also has insurance cover of Rs 5,00,000. His wife owns six diamond sets, 2.50 grams of gold and a silver set, total of Rs 25,00,000. She also has cash in hand Rs 15,000. Mufti as per affidavit has inherited land in Zirpora Bijbehara which is worth Rs 31,00,000 and also has a share in residential building in Bijbihara with market value of Rs 70,00,000. With no investment in commercial sector, Mufti, former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir has loan liability of Rs 5,00,000 taken from legislative secretariat. |
