Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 4: BJP "leader" Aditi Sharma, who had earned prominence in the BJP during the last week of August this year, has mysteriously disappeared from the political scene. Appearance and disappearance of Aditi Sharma is still a mystery in the BJP.
Aditi Sharma, who had projected herself as only potential candidate for Gandhi Nagar assembly seat, had gone to hibernation after ticket for this seat was given to former Mayor of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Kavinder Gupta. Aditi Sharma had appeared two days back at Billawar when BJP leader Dr Nirmal Singh had filed his nomination papers.
Credible sources in the BJP said that a central BJP leader who was behind projecting Aditi Sharma in the party in the month of August, these days is more particular about projecting a female leader from Kashmir Valley who has triggered a controversy by giving a statement on Article 370.
Aditi Sharma was solely depend upon that leader to manage mandate for her from Gandhi Nagar assembly segment but that central leader preferred Kashmir based female leader. Aditi Sharma was assured that she will be given ticket from Gandhi Nagar seat and it was all due to that assurance that she had opened office and even started work in the constituency.
A local BJP leader, who had introduced Aditi Sharma at New Delhi with some central leaders, was also optimistic that his disciple would get the mandate but he also expressed his helpless when Aditi Sharma was denied ticket and party preferred Kavinder Gupta. The local leader, who was mediator between Aditi Sharma and central leaders, these days is not picking up phone of Aditi Sharma despite being the fact that he has taken many benefits from Aditi.
Credible sources said that after being dumped by that Central leader, Aditi Sharma, being a dedicated BJP worker, has voluntarily worked in different constituencies to ensure victory of party candidates.
