Sham hits out against ''Kashmiri rulers'

Jammu, Dec 4: Minister for PHE and Flood Control and Congress candidate from Akhnoor, Sham Lal Sharma today hit out against "Kashmiri rulers" who have scant regard for people of Jammu region.
"We always fought for your rights but the misfortune is that your destinies are in the hands of Kashmiri rulers who probably shows little regard for Jammu people," Mr Sharma said at an interaction with youths after addressing series of election meetings in Akhnoor Assembly Segment of Jammu district, which will go to poll on December 20.
He said even within his own party, he had to take strong stand to impress upon leadership to support his voice for Jammu which can be seen from Congress pledge to provide Regional Development Councils, Package for Chhamb DPs, POJK refugees and reservation to residents of IB.
"My struggle for Jammu cause will continue to a logical conclusion for a dignified place for Jammu, Which includes a Chief Minister from the region and migrants reservations for Jammu youths too in professional colleges in other parts of India," he said.
Mr Sharma said four big Panchayats in Akhnoor constituency will be developed into a Satellite town.
"My next plan for four big panchayats is to develop them as satellite town since Akhnoor towns extension is to their side," the Minister added.
"Congress is all set to head next government in Jammu and Kashmir since people from all three regions believes that Congress alone have the commitments towards them who are suffering multiple problems, rehabilitation challenges as well need for political stability which none of the other outfits even bother to talk while seeking popular mandate," he said.
Castigating the National Conference for disputing J&K's accession to India, Mr Sharma said their old political ploys would no more help them in survive a rout.
"Congress stands on Accession is stated as final, no more an issue of debate," he added.
Mr Sharma accused the BJP of having sinister political designs in valley which has supported party like Nation Conference to dig out settled issues on state to cause uncertainty.
He charged the BJP and NC with joining hands with separatists and elements like Hurriyat Conference to chase their "magical figures."
