RS Pura, Dec 4: Expressing gratitude to people for overwhelming support during filing nomination papers, Former Chief Secretary, Former Minister, MLC and independent Candidate of R.S Pura B R Kundal while continuing poll campaign today said that time has come to witness change for overall development of the area.
While addressing several gatherings in various villages of Panchayat Chohala, MLC Kundal said that usually candidates first seek votes to carry out development of the area but I seek support after developing several villages during my tenure as MLC. He appealed people to vote him and give him 72 months to witness unprecedented growth in R.S. Pura in all sectors.
He also cautioned people not to fall prey of vested interest politicians as they exploit the interest of common people. Targeting BJP , he said, "During Lok Sabha elections, people voted BJP but it has failed to come up to expectations and thus it can't mint its farce slogan of 'ache din' Referring to slashed petroleum prices, he said, "BJP has not reduced the fare charges of public transport as it gives benefit to poor instead has benefited only big industrialist and contractors."
Taking a dig upon Congress, he said the party has sold tickets to candidates but buying or selling party ticket does not guarantee victory in elections. Among others who addressed public meetings included Panch Yograj Singh, Panch Tarsem Lal, Panch Ajay Bhagat, Ranjit Singh, Numberdar Pardeep Kumar, Sudhakar Mal, Lalit Sharma, Bachan Lal Motton, Panch Harjit Singh, Panch O P Khajuria and O P Sudan. |
