Early Times Report

Kathua, Dec 4: A case has been lodged with Election Commission of India under compliant ID- JK/11/65/359510 by Naresh Sharma, an Independent candidate for Assembly Constituency Kathua-65, against Chenab Textile Mills, CTM.
While informing to media, Naresh Sharma alleged on administration of CTM that had violated laws of land are continuously violating it. He added that when law enforcement agencies are themselves guests of law breaker then how we can expect law executor are doing their job religiously.
He further alleged that most of the time when there is a state guest and stalwarts of any party at Kathua, Distt administration make arrangement in CTM guest house and CTM left no stone unturned to get benefits of state guest at later stage just forcing him to remember the scene of Gangajal movie (gift given to officers and their work culture after that).
Sharma appealed ECI to debar Distt election cell from making boarding and lodging arrangement of different election Observers at CTM guest house. He surprisingly said that CTM is continuously violating labor agreements signed with J&K government in which CTM is supposed to employ 75% local employees and 25% outsiders but out of total 15000 employees only 1000 are local, thereby making mockery of whole arrangement made for employ ability of citizen of J&K.
He asserted on CTM to ignore the rules and astonishingly less than .5% local are permanent employee with only .001% officers but no action has been taken till date by J&K state employees and local administration which reveals their strong tie up in this menace.
He informed that various complaints has been made but law executors are just silent because of hidden various reasons. He asserted that there are several attempts of violation of state laws like chemical pollution as their waste is flowing into adjoining water bodies thereby destroying flora and fauna besides citizens' lives, labour laws etc.
He threatened to continue his drive against law violators especially CTM and his voice could not pressed. When contacted to Returning Officer 65- Constituency G Prasanna Ramaswamy, IAS who is also ADC Kathua, he denied to have such knowledge about such observers who alleged to stay in private accommodation even he informed that all observers have stayed in District administration accommodation. He assured to inquire thematter and action will be taken if any violation had been made.
