Hiranagar, Jan 6: An implosive high ranged Pakistan manufactured mortar has been recovered along the International Border (IB) in a street of village Chann Tanda in Hiranagar Sector. A fear psychosis has gripped the entire village after the news about the recovery of mortal spread among villagers. The mortal, as per security agencies could not explode due to technical fault. Affected people have been shifted to safer places whereas some have moved to relatives' houses, as per the security reports. Gopal Dass, an octogenarian alleged that administration is trying to accommodate dozens of people in a crammed room whereas the quality of ration being provided to the border families is also unhygienic and insufficient. He appealed BJP government in center to do the needful to stop the frequent firing and shelling form the Pakistani side as he said, crops and livestock has been damaged and the compensation being provided is also inadequate. He said government prepared a list of 420 people in relief camps and release relief materials for the same but actual only 150 people were adjusted in the relief camps. |
