HRAK expresses concern over decrease in Vaishno Devi pilgrims 1/6/2015 11:09:52 PM Early Times Report jammu, Jan 6: Hotel & Restaurant Association Katra today showed great concern over per year decrease in Vaishnodevi pilgrimage of over 35 lacs in just two years and asked the Government, Shrine Board & Tourism Department in particular to change the policies and remain more vigilant. According to press release, the members of organization said the agencies should keep this in mind the religious places, which once upon a time were more popular in yatries including Char Dham etc. are on decreasing trend as for as yatra is concerned and as for as religious places like Shridi Sai Baba, Shani Dham, Shiv Khori etc. are concerned their yatra have picked up a lot in last few years and if the Govt., Shrine Board and Tourism department will not take serious note of this decrease in yatra in the coming years this yatra will decrease further as it has been decreased in the last two years. They even criticized the agencies for not even bringing to the knowledge of the whole world that tragedy like Kedar Nath and floods in Jammu & Kashmir have no way effected Shri Mata Vaishnodevi Shrine and it was as normal as it was before these tragedies.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
