jammu, Jan 6: National Conference leader and Chairman J&K Sikh Societies Amalgamate S.Gurdeep Singh Sasan greeted the people on the eve of Gurpurab of Sahibe-Kamal Guru Gobind Singh Ji. According to press release, he said that Guru Ji as Saint, Saviour and Soldier has created classless and casteless society by sacrificing his four sons, his father, his mother and his five beloved Singh for the cause of humanity and nation to bring peace, brotherhood and tranquility in the society.
He said that Guru's philosophy is of uniting the whole mankind in a single thread of love and universal brotherhood and the present time demands that such way of life should spread in the whole world.
Reminding the humanity of Guru's teachings he said the sincere service to humanity, generosity towards poor downtrodden and needy, patriotism, sacrifice, royal courage, rising spirit, and confrontation with tyranny had been listed on top by Guru Ji.
Sasan further said that Guru Ji forbade the entry of killer of the new born daughters into the Khalsa Panth, Sasan said that our true homage to Guru Ji is "to pledge to redouble our efforts of lighting up the right of love, kindness and impartial affection and strengthen the pillars of work workship and charity, sharing and caring, service and mediation, respect for all religions but not least, pledge to eradicate the menace of female foeticide and other social evils prevailing in the society, adoption of one girl child for education and make this world a beautiful heaven to live. |
