Jammu, Jan 6: Bajrang Dal expressed concern over conversion of religion by allegedly Christain Community in Sherpura village of Katra town and warned the government if they fail to stop conversion they will come on road.
According to press release, Co-Convener Rakesh Sharma said there locals of village mostly belong to backward classes and are very poor and the Priest of Christian community are often coming to the village for conversion by exploiting their backwardness and poverty.
"These innocent people are regularly being converted into Christianity as they are giving money and other benefits," he alleged and adding the matter has already been reported to DM Katra.
Among those who were present on the occasion included Naresh Sharma, Sagar Sharma, Arun Sharma, Dalip Singh, Tirshal Sharma, Ritik Tikko, Pawan Kumar and others. |
