Early Times Report Srinagar, June 1: While most of the political activities have been missing from the scene in Kashmir since the abrogation of the special status on August 5, 2019, the creation of another political party is on the cards. Sources said some youth politicians in Kashmir have been discussing creation of new political party that will “highlight the political aspirations of the people of Kashmir.” Sources said the youth leaders, who were previously lobbying with a right wing party at the center have been working hard on a plan to float the new party. Sources said such youth leaders are interested to float the new party in the coming months to contest the next Assembly elections. Sources said the group of such leaders look ahead to hold deliberations with some politicians well connected in New Delhi to finalize the modalities. “Elementary meetings on the issue have already been underway for quite some time but any concrete decision is awaited,” said a source close to such developments.
