Early times Report Jammu, June 30: After startling revelations by hawk leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani, one thing has become clear that ongoing so-called ‘movement’ in Kashmir Valley is nothing but a ‘money minting’ game-plan of some leaders who are exploiting innocent youth in the name of religion. Geelani, who himself had exploited youth for years together, had alleged that some people sitting across LoC were luring Kashmiri youth towards drugs and the “drugged youth were not in their senses”. The former Hurriyat chairman had also stated that the “Kashmir’s freedom struggle was reduced to mere drug abuse and serving Pakistan’s interests. He had also accused some people in the amalgam of resorting to “financial irregularities and taking decisions on behalf of him (Geelani) without his consent.” During the last one year one thing has become clear that most of the terrorist and separatist leaders were involved in smuggling drugs and other banned narcotics. Early times Report Srinagar, June 30: The death toll due to COVID-19 has risen to 101 in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir with five more persons, including four from the valley and one from Jammu, dying due to the disease on Tuesday. With these deaths, 65 people have lost their lives due to the infection in 26 days and 86 in 42 days in J&K, where the COVID-19 positive cases have surpassed the 7300-mark.
