Jaitley's remarks on 'Nirbhay' condemnable: Cong leader | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, Aug 25: Senior Congress leader and Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) member Pankaj Dogra condemned remarks made by union Defence and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley describing them as hurting to the sentiments of women community and highly condemnable. While addressing the press conference Pankaj Dogra condemned the remark made by Arun Jaitley in which "he termed the Nirbahay rape case as a small rape incident". Dogra said, "Jaitley should be expelled from the cabinet for showing disrespect to fairer sex and hurting the sentiment of women community and even encouraging the crime against women. He also lambasted on the Prime Minister Narendra Modi led Government for failing to restrain Pakistan which is violating ceasefire and targeting civilian areas at International border in Jammu province. On the occasion JKPCC secretary S Manohar Singh, Pawan Sharma, Ravinder Pal Singh, S.Daljeet Singh, Sohan Lal also expressed shock over the statement against the women dignity made by Union Minister Arun Jaitley. |
