Petition seeking arrest of son's killer in Kishtwar riots

Jammu, Aug 25 : In a petition filed by one Mohd Khanday father of deceased Lassa Khanday who was killed by the private respondents under the grab of Kishtwar riots on August 10, 2013 seeking arrest of the eight private respondents who are challaned by the police but not arrested. Justice Janak Raj Kotwal of J&K High Court Jammu Wing after hearing Adv AH Bhat appearing for the petitioner issued notice to respondents and directed SSP Kishtwar and SHO Atholi to furnish status report as regards the investigation in FIR NO 17/2013 of P/S Atholi and SSP Kishtwar ensured that no harm shall be caused to the petitioner.
