Syed Junaid Hashmi jammu, Apr 13: Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has asked the state government to curb practice of making Adhoc appointments stringently. PSC made a formal request to General Administration Department (GAD) to advice all the administrative heads to ensure that copies of orders regarding Adhoc appointments and stop-gap arrangements are invariably endorsed to the commission. WHEN WILL MY MISERIES END.....?
(An open letter by the AAM AADMI to Chief Minister)
4/13/2012 11:15:25 PM
Early Times Report jammu, Apr 13: Yes, I am aam aadmi. My name??......well I have many names... some of them are...Ramesh..Mushtaq...Satnam...Albert etc. etc. Am I the poorest of the poor or I may be the rich? The only thing which unites us, is our aam status and our inability to confront the sick system. I (the author) have gathered the guts to write this because I have almost seen it all and have experienced the pain full grind, maybe from so close that I can safely comment on certain issues with confidence and authority. I am going to highlight some of my (common man's) teething vulnerabilities and at the same time suggest some measures to assist you to address my pains, if so desired. ...

This community is an important vote bank at many places in Jammu region and in some constituencies it has played a role of game changer. Rustam jammu, Apr 13: The so-called Kashmir expert and peacenik, Kuldip Nayar, who migrated to India from Sialkot (Pakistan) in 1947 in the wake of the country's communal partition, is very happy with Pakistan Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani. In fact, he has written a political essay on him and Jammu and Kashmir suggesting that it is for New Delhi to go by what Gilani says and solve the so-called Kashmir problem. His latest essay on Pakistan and Jammu and Kashmir is titled "The Kashmir Question". Nayar in his essay eulogized Gilani for his statement that "his country (Pakistan) would seek a solution on Kashmir through a dialogue, not hostilities" and questioned India and Pakistani oppos...
