Bringing more fortunes to the civil babudom, the government today approved promotions of 15 officers drawn from four different departments to the super time scale of Rs 10,000-15,200 of the Kashmir Administrative Services. Another IAS officer too have been placed in the higher grade.
According to an order issued by the General Administration Department, the officers promoted to the Super Time scale of KAS are: M. K. Raina, Mr. Ghulam Nabi Bhat, Mr. A. A. President of India Pratibha Devisingh Patil will arriving in Srinagar tomorrow on a four day official tour of Jammu and Kashmir.
The President has an elaborate tour program of the state even the state government has not officially announced the itinerary.
According to an official communiqué of the Rashtrapati Bhawan, the President, Pratibha Devisingh Patil shall be visiting Jammu and Kashmir to see the forward areas and spend time with the Jawans.
