| AG's Office makes it 4-2 win in football | | | Sports Reporter
SRINAGAR, Sept 11: The Accountant General (AG) Office XI today trounced Alfatah Club to consolidate their position in the ongoing Division-A Football League of DFA Srinagar at Polo Ground, here.
Alfatah Club took the first lead when Mohd Rafiq netted the ball in the 18th minute but only to find AG's Office brining in the equalizer in through Yasir Mukhdoomi.
With first half score leveled at 1-1, AG's Office went ahead with Sameee scoring a goal in the 38th minute. The lead was further improved by Khalid Qayoom in the 40th minute to make it 3-1.
However, Alftah fought back but could only reduce the margin with Saqib netting the ball in 53rd minute. In the 62nd minute Samee scored his second and team's fourth goal to guide his side to a 4-2 win.
Meanwhile, in another match of the Super Division League, Iqbal Sports held Young Maharaja to a 1-1 draw. Young Maharaja took the first lead in the 35th minute through Faqir. The score was leveled by Iqbal Sports in the 62nd minutes of the match. |
