Early Times Report JAMMU, Sept 11: Female employee of the Principal Resident Commission fainted on Tuesday when the Additional Resident Commissioner (ARC) allegedly abused her. Interestingly, the Chief Minister was staying in the building housing the Commission office at Prithviraj Road, New Delhi. Omar was in Delhi to attend a conference of Power Ministers of the country. Reports said that a female employee, Rajni went to the office of the ARC, Asif Hamid Khan with some files. However, after ten or fifteen minutes when she came out she looked pale and fainted but not before telling her colleagues that the ARC had abused her. Rajni, it may be mentioned is scheduled to retire next year. Reports said Asif uses abusive language with the female employees very often. ARC employees said he (Asif) shouted at an information employee publicly. Asif is the son of a former IAS officer Hamidullah Khan and has enjoyed some prize postings including Joint Director, Tourism Mumbai. He was posted as ARC, Delhi on March 15, 2013, replacing Abdul Majid Ganai. Asif's wife Dr Shazia, an employee of the health department and his children stayed back in Mumbai. He had to travel to Mumbai on his personal expenses which proved costly to him. However, the Government came to his rescue and he was given additional charge of tourist office Mumbai. This entitled him to reimbursement of travel expenses. |
