JAMMU, Sept 13: To honour and appreciate the importance of Grandparents in families, Ankur Play School (under the aegis of BWWA), BSF Primary School, Jammu celebrated Grandparents Day today. Grandparents of few students from Pre- Nursery to KG were invited to the school to share their experiences or narrate a story. A small cultural programme was presented by the kids and loving grandparents of the kids also played games like wrapping mummy, garlands, peeling apple, balancing the balloon in the air. The grandparents felt happy by this small effort of the school to honour the senior citizens. The Chief Guest, Sweety Vinod, President BWWA, who was chief guest on the occasion, applauded the efforts of the school for celebrating a special day for the deserving people. |
