| Essay writing contest on topic "Naari Shoshan' held at GDC Bishnah | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 13: Govt Degree College (GDC) Bishnah organised an essay writing competition on the topic "Naari Shoshan" for B.A. Part-III on Thursday and a symposium on the topic "Rashtriya Bhasha Hindi Sabhi Bhashaon Ka Sirmour hai on today.
The today's occasion was organized under the supervision of Prof Sunita Gupta, HOD Hindi in the weeklong celebrations of Hindi Divas. Prof Kalpana Kesar was the chief guest on the occasion. Atleast 45 students participated in the Essay Writing Contest in which Anju Bala and Geeta Devi were adjudged as first two toppers while Monika Devi & Bharti Sharma were declared joint winner for the third place. Monika and Sonia has to satisfied with consolation prizes.
A panel of judges comprising Prof Hardeep Kour, Dr Suman Charak and Prof Preeti Dogra adjudged the performance essay writing contest while a panel of Prof. Hardeep Kour, Dr Renu Gupta and Ms Anshu Andotra acted as judge during symposium. Pooja Manhas of B.A. Part-III, Pooja Devi of B.A. Part-II & Manju Kumari of B.A. Part-III were declared three top rankers respectively, whereas two consolation prizes awarded to Bharti Sharma & Anju Bala of B.A. Part-III.
Ms Bandhu Sharma & Sunil Pangotra too were present on the occasion while proceedings of the programme were conducted by Prof Sunita Gupta. A formal vote of thanks was presented by Prof. Preeti Dogra. |
