| "Govt have no employment policy for Ayurvedic ISM doctors" | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 13: The unemployed Ayurvedic BAMS doctors of Jammu region today under the banner of "Unemployed Ayurvedic BAMS Doctors Association" Jammu led by Dr Shri Kant and Dr Sahil Pandoh held a strong protest outside the press club Jammu today. The doctors with the banners and aprons shouted slogans for their absorptions in the Govt jobs. Dr Shri Kant said and alleged that the Govt have no employment policy for the Ayurvedic ISM doctors and the strength of the unemployed BAMS doctors is growing day by day. He said the Govt is not doing any thing for the absorption of the Ayurvedic doctors. Dr Sahil Pandoh demanded the Union health Minister Gulam Nabi Azad to personally intervene into the matter who is on the visit of the Jammu and should hold enquiry that how many Ayurvedic doctors of Jammu region, have been observed in the Govt jobs by this five years' long coalition Govt and pass the direction in this respect to the concerned for the absorption of the Ayurvedic doctors. He said the Unani doctors from the Kashmir region are being observed by this Govt against the posts of the Ayurvedic doctors, discriminating the Ayuruvedic doctors. He said all the dispensaries are lying vacant without the doctors and the patients are suffering for the treatment. Dr Sahil appealed the media to extend their support to them and ask the Govt and the health minister that what the policy of the Govt is for the Ayurvedic doctors. The unemployed Ayurvedic doctors threatened that they will intensify the agitation and come on streets in the coming days. They appealed the unemployed Ayurvedic Doctors to unite for their cause. |
