The two nation theory
was adopted by the
Muslim League and Indian National Congress to attain the transfer of governing power of India from the British. Muslim League was dominated by Mr. Jinnah and Congress dominated by Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru who kept non-Congress leader Mahatma Gandhi in the front. Mr. Jinnah and Mahatma Gandhi were unofficially labeled as Nation father and both were assassinated. Their acceptance of two nation theory resulted in killing millions of innocent people, womenfolk raped, property raised to ground and displaced from their home and mother land of both communities. Still the present leaders of these political parties claim to have attained so called independence peacefully, without violence and without shedding blood. These leaders of India boost in implementing the settled political path of working and governing by Nehru-Gandhi family and seldom quote to follow Mahatma Gandhi peaceful agitating mode wherever necessitated.
The entire political scenario exist on pre-independence two nation theory where it was openly exhibited as carving Pakistan out of India now functioning under two words Secularism and Communalism. Pre-independence two nation theory bifurcated Muslim-Hindu community and post-independence repeat the same communities to stand against eachother. Secular forces are those who stand against BJP, RSS, VHP and Bajrang Dal who are labeled as communal forces. It is undisputedly a fact that these two words are dividing the Indian society on religious grounds.
The congress is leading the so-called secular front named UPA supported by some other like-wise regional parties keeping Muslim appeasement policy in the front to strengthen their political arm holding some non=Muslims on the caste, creed and region basis.
This has encouraged the fanatic Muslims to use the mosque electronic system to instigate the innocent Muslims to indulge in violence on fake allegations against the non-Muslim communities. The congress lead UPA government has not taken any action against such elements. The Indian society ponders over the fact why the most of violence occurs after Friday prayers in mosques? Why the violence happens in Muslim majority areas? Why the government suspect for violence if non-Muslim desire to have a function or pass through such areas in shape of religious procession? The government never keeps those incidences in view where the common Muslim and Hindu welcome such functions and processions of eachother communities where the political leaders are not involved?
This congress policy has kept the funny Kashmir problem alive, kept the article 370 exists in J&K State and politically killed the nationalist Congress unit of Jammu region. One can't avoid in narrating period of 1953 to 1975 when the Congress was politically dominating this state, when the Kashmiri Muslim was also participating in building the state and practically merging with the national mainstream, when entire state inhabitants were enjoying the revocation of permit system and other such restrictions which were restricting them to enjoy the national fruit as other enjoy. Madam Indira Gandhi installed Sheikh Abdullah to rule the state when neither he was public representative nor affiliated to any political party. She made Jammu Congress unit to support him in the legislation and assist him in governing. She made this state to again face the antinational political agenda the Sheikh have chalked. Her family is still continuing the same process for this state and the entire nation to bleed. They are secular holding the flag of secularism making both communities to loose their lives, property and honour in many shapes as evident in the recent violence in the different states. The violence of Kishtwar and violence in other state can not be bracketed in the same bracket as the other violence is between two communities on the local issues or differences where as the Kishtwar violence is between anti-national elements who raise the Pakistani flag and anti-national slogans and nationalists who raise pro-Indian slogans and respect the national flag. The congress can't walkout of the responsibility of this violence where they stood soft for anti-national elements and proved ineffective in collation government to its partner. The congress remain tolerating the repeated communal riots in UP where its political UPA survival interest stand to ensure SP vote count in the parliament. Congress is playing the number game to govern at the cost of nation.
The intolerance of nationalist leaders in the first Indian government lead by Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru made them to leave congress to form separate political parties Jansangh renamed as BJP is one such party formed by Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukerjee.
This process still continues resultant in the mushroom of regional parties which resemble the pre-independence era when there were numerous Jagirdars, Rajas and Maharajas. The congress failed to hold the healthy state union under identical treatment and the violence for local interests now govern over the national interests.
The BJP lead NDA though have different ideologies but have common commitment to have healthy joint existence society. They desire common civil code, they wish for the J&K State to intermingle with the national mainstream by revoking 370 article to let Kashmiri Muslims to realize excesses done to them by the valley centric leaders supported by the Nehru-Gandhi family because of this article. The valley leaders and separatist raise slogans against New Delhi government and have never raised slogan against Congress and never curse Nehru-Gandhi family, why it is so? Dr. Kamaal speaks against congress to snub the Jammu congress unit as he knows patronage of that family and Omar- Rahul being close friends like their ancestors with second aim to please the valley fanatics including cultivating healthy vote bank.
Post-independence political leadership could not get rid of the agitating modes adopted to damage the British government local administrations and the financial growth. The same paralyzing local administration, damaging the public property, interrupting in road, rail traffic methods are organized by the political parties of each and every political party. Can these political leaders justify these damages? Can they explain for the public inconvenience, agony to patients denied access to medical aid, students and new employees to reach their destination for examination or joining job and so on? Can the political leaders justify the compensations to the accidental victims, eliminated terrorists families? Accidental victims are covered by the public vehicle insurance policy. Do the politicians believe that the elimination of the terrorist stops the income assistance to that family requires compensated?
The perturbed society is wandering for the nationalist leaders to come together who may reform the damaging policies, believe in equality and treats the each individual on his status in providing education, employment, shelving reservations and before going for such reforms must revoke the article 370 to protect the Kashmiri Muslims from the ill designs of valley centric leaders.
The political interests are playing with the society and a secular-communal slogan has re-titled the two nation theory to rule on British policy of Divide and Rule but congress has adopted Rule and Divide.
