'Grand Parents Day' celebrated 9/13/2013 10:59:19 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 13: Daffodils Care Convent Play way School, Jain Bazar celebrated 'Grand Parents Day' today in a function held at school premises. The function started with lecture delivered by Saanchi Jain of class UKG who highlighted the importance of Grand Parents in their lives. The children recited poems and danced on different kiddish songs and entertained their Grand Parents. Grand Parents also participated in different games like passing the parcel and won prizes. Grand Parents were very happy to be the part of the celebration and shared their different experience with their grand children. Vijay Kumar (BJP leader, Ward President of Ward No. 4) was the guest of hounor. He congratulated all the grandparents on this day and requested them to forward their culture and tradition to the new generation.
