Kathua, Sept 13: Miffed residents of the village Logate today locked the PHE office at Logate to lodge their protest against water crisis which has been prevailing in the area since last fifteen days.
The protesters said that it was insensitive attitude of department towards the public needs. The PHE has lost public faith due to its negligence and irregularities said Raj Kumar, Sarpanch Panchayat Sahar. "We are without water since last fifteen days and whenever we approach approach the department one thing is given to us that is assurance to solve the problem but it is fact nothing have been done so for by the PHE department and left the residents to face the fatal consequences of lacking of water" they said. |
