Jammu, Sept 13: Panthers Kissan Council in a meeting held today organised by Balvinder Singh Jamwal (state executive member) at PWD rest house Basohli under the chairmanship of Vishav Dev Singh (chairman Panthers Kissan Council J&K) highlighted many problems that include demand for Reserved Backward Area (RBA) to the people who are residing near RS Dam effected area. Problems faced by the farmers in seeds/fertilizers and losses of their crops due to monkeys etc., compensation to the farmers, due to rains and employment policy in RS Dam. Panthers Kissan Cell unit for Pahari district was also formed with Sadanad Sharma (Ex-Srp) as its president, Kartar Singh as general secretary and Karam Chand Bhagat (Rtd. PWD) as Secretary .
Prominent who were present in the meeting include Shankar Singh (Srp) State Secy, Jagdev S Myan (Srp) Dist president, Harvind Singh (Ex Srp) block president, Gopal Anand block gen. Secy. Dev Raj (Rtd.HM) block president Bhoond, Harnam Singh Chib president Ex Sr man, Babu Ram Verma zonal president, Mohd Ishak NPSU, Ashok Andotra Panch , N A Ansari, Kuldeep Kumar, Som Raj, Ranjit Singh Rinkoo (young Panthers) and many ex- serviceman & farmers. |
