SRINAGAR, Sept 30 : Fabulous prizes were distributed by Additional Director General of Police (Headquarters), S. P. Vaid, among the winners of Police Public Mela Raffle Draw held on 22nd September. In all 30 prizes of the raffle draw were handed over to the winners at an impressive function held at Police Headquarters (PHQ) here today.
The prizes distributed among the winners include bumper prize Nissan Micra Car, six Santro Cars, five Alto 800 Cars, four Nano Cars, three Motor Cycles and three Scooties to the prize winners.
The bumper prize Nissan Micra handed over to Follower Imtiyaz Ahmed of district Rajouri, who has won the prize against the raffle draw ticket No D-31401.
First Prize six Santro Cars were handed over to Preetam Singh, Balbir Singh, Shahnawaz Lone, Jan Mohammad, Sheetal Kumar and Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Rather.
Second prize of five Alto Cars were handed over to the winners, Girdhari Lal, Khem Raj, Naseer Ahmed, Vipul Paul and Miraj-ud-din.
Similarly, the third prizes of four Nano Cars were handed over to Auaz Ahmed, Narayan Dutt Gupta, Ms. Effat Afaq Wani and Syed Kifiyat Hussain.
Fourth prize, three Motor Cycles were handed over to the prize winners, Mohammad Maqbool Dar, Mohammad Aslam and Khurshid Ahmed
Accordingly other prizes three Scooties, two Laptops, three LCD TVs, two ACs, three Tabs and two Washing Machines were also handed over to the winners.
The prize winner hailed the transparent process in which raffle draw was held in the presence of public and expressed hope that they will participate in such Melas in future also.
They said that the Police Public Melas have become more attractive for the people and they wait for these Melas anxiously.
Among others, the function was attended by IsGP, AK Choudhary and S S Khandre, AIsGP, G H Bhat, Aftab Kakroo and R. S. Sambyal, Joint Director Prosecution (PHQ), Tashi Rizgin and other police and officers. |
