early times report JAMMU, Sept 30: On the eve of Wildlife Protection Week, commencing from 2nd Oct , Hiamalayan Avians Foundation (HAF) has provided opportunity to the children of Civil wards of Jammu cantonment to show their painting talent on the theme of Wildlife. This is the first time when such kind of event is being organized for the cantonment related children. Children under age group of 8-16year shall participate in this competition. Events are being organized in collaboration with wildlife Protection Department. For that purpose more than 15 centers has been established at various location of Narwal pain, Jawahar Nagar, Raipur Satwari, Airport Road, Govindpur on different dates. More than 600 children of these area shall participate in the competition and display their talent and make people aware regarding wildlife protection. First painting competition has been fixed on 2nd Oct at Church premises of Narwal Pain Ward No 2 at 8 AM. HAF Head Guldev Raj said that Selective 60 paintings, shall be included in Painting Exhibition to be organized shortly in Jammu, while Ten top winners will be awarded in the function. |
