early times report Jammu, Sept 30: To take stock of plight of the Jat community spread in far remote areas in out skirts of winter capital, Manmohan Singh, President, All India Jat Mahasabha, (J&K), visited border and countryside villages and interacted with Jat community. Accompanied with other members of the Jat Mahasabha, state chief All India Jat Mahasabha (J&K) visited Satah, Manoonu, Shah Balore, Palth, Karandi, Parel, Pangwal, Bheari, Paenthi and Katera and interacted with locals in particular to the members of Jat community. J&K Jat Mahasabha Chief Manmohan Singh, held meetings at all of these villages, interacted with locals to get an abstract of their day today life. Duing his visit different delegations and deputations of locals called on him and apprised Jat Mahasabha chief with their miserable life in absence of electricity and safe drinking water and transport facilities. Singh, while talking to them, made it clear that he won't dole them big assurances but exhorted them to remain united to for raising their issues. He however assured he will get their grievances redressed by taking to the concerned authorities. He also asked them to educate their children as nothing is more important than their education. Singh during his visit assured the community members that Jat Mahasabha has decided to take up problems of community members with concerned ministries and their Member Parliament for their redressal. Prominent who accompanied with Manmohan Singh were Sham Lal, Anil, Baldev, Girdhari, Satish, Purshottam, Jagdish and Tarun Singh.
