JAMMU, Sept 30: Tarun Sharma son of Dinesh Kumar Sharma a Jammu-based actor brought laurels to the Jammu and Kashmir State when he was awarded for his outstanding performance in play '' EK DHOOP SAPHED SI'' which was staged at Bela Theatre Karwaan, Shankar Market , Connaught Place , in New Delhi recently.
He was awarded a merit certificate for his outstanding performance in the play. He had won number of Awards and certificates including this Certificate . A multi-faceted personality, Tarun is also exhibited his performance as model, writer, director, anchor and a ace Karateka. Besides being associated with various cultural Groups, Tarun is President of Nat Manch, 2nd Dan Black Belt in Karate and EX-President Jammu Distt Karate Association. International Gold Medalist.
The play, directed by Rajesh Raina and written by Rajneesh Gupta ,was staged during the 5TH Terrace Theatre Festival organised by Bela Theatre Karwaan Santosh Sangra, Rajesh Raina were the actors who performed in the play and Dr Sudhir Mahajan was the team manager.
5TH Terrace Theatre Festival was organized from 21 September to 30 September ,2013 in the New Delhi , where 14 plays by theatre groups from all over the country were performed. Besides Jammu, teams from Kolkat , Delhi, Maharashtra, Chandigarh and Nagpur also performed in the ten days festival.
This year's festival was dedicated to Antone Cheknov famous writer of the world. Tarun Sharma said that this was the my first experiencee to act in a Terrace .
On the last day, people with theatre, film, education and social backgrounds were felicitated. |
