Early Times Report

KATHUA, Sept 30: Extending its support to the Supreme Court's direction that an MP or MLA convicted of any criminal offence attracting a punishment of two years and above will be disqualified immediately, the Nature-Mankind Friendly Global Movement (NMFGM) said that SC passed the ruling with a view to cleanse the political set up of the country.
Addressing a press conference here today, founder of NMFGM and Ex Minister Babu Singh said that disqualifying tainted politicians is a right decision and should be supported by all political parties
While speaking on the occasion, Singh also welcomed the Right to Reject option for the voters and demanded complete election reforms with all the financial activities should be conducted under the supervision of Election Commission and state machinery so that movement of black money during the elections could be stopped.
He also advocated a Indo-Pak joint operation to eliminate the terrorism from both the countries.
