Jammu, Sept 30: Shiv Sena Hindustan (SSH) irked over delay in payment of compensation of damage caused to the victims of Kishtwar violence so far. Addressing a press conference, Vikrant Kapoor, Senior Vice-President, SSH said that shopkeepers and traders who were looted in Kishtwar violence have not been given financial aid even after expiry of two months. He said particularly traders community are very much annoyed with the government as they claim that a team deputed by the government to assess the damage did not consult with affected shopkeepers and they just prepared the report on their own. SSH demanded for early payment of compensation of damaged caused to the affected people and security to the minority in the area. Among other present in the press conference were Jagdish Singh, Anoop Trikha, Sukhbir Singh, Dinesh Mahajan, Rohit Singh Bhu and Shiv Kumar. |
