Jammu, Sept 30: Police foiled a bovine smuggling bid and rescued 13 animals at a naka laid at Sarote Morh area falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Bagh-E-Bahu, police said.
According to police following specific input police team from Bagh-e-Bahu intercepted one Truck (JK 02 AC-9811). However on seeing police the driver abandoned the truck and managed to escape from the spot taking advantage of darkness, police added.
"During search rescued 13 Bovine animals which were being transported illegally from Jammu to Srinagar, Police said, further adding, " a case FIR No 87/13 U/S 188 RPC, 3 PCA Act stands registered and further investigation is going on. |
