Early Times Report Kathua, Oct 10: In order to gear up the activities of party, the workers of the National Conference held a meeting at Hiranagar, under the chairmanship of block president Yashpal Kundal today. During this, the workers from the different villages put forth their demands and problems regarding drinking water, power supply, road connectivity, ration, old aged pension etc. Yashpal Kundal listened to the demands and problems of the people patiently and assured their redressal on the priority basis. While addressing the people Yashpal Kundal said that state government headed by Omar Abdullah is committed for the development and progress of the state. He said that several schemes and program has launched by the Government for the welfare of the people and same had rise the graph of social and economic up-lift. He appealed the people to come forward to get the benefit of various centrally and state sponsored schemes so that the efforts of the Government can be fulfilled. Alleging the local representatives, he said that as far as the development of the constituency is concerned, it has been neglected for the last thirty years. The development and total up-lift of people can only be possible if they strengthen the hands of Omar Abdullah and party base. During the meeting it was decided that in order to make the people aware of the party policies and achievements of the government headed by Omar Abdullah, the meetings will be organised at village level in future. Other than this it was also discussed to appoint polling agents for every polling station of Hiranagar constituency.
